nuclear science

When you hear “nuclear science,” many of us immediately think about nuclear power. While this inexpensive and safe form of energy is a main component of nuclear science, there is so much more!

Most of the requirements for this badge are not area-specific; they can be done through research in a book or online. There are a couple of options in our area, though, that you may find fun and interesting!

Helpful hint: If you call to set up a field trip, make sure it’s for noo-klee-ar science rather than noo-kyu-lar science. If you can’t hear the difference, listen at Dictionary.com.
